Issue: dev-util/herdtools7-7.51 fails to compile (lto).
Discovered on: amd64 (internal ref: lto_tinderbox)

NOTE:
This machine uses lto with CFLAGS=-flto -Werror=odr -Werror=lto-type-mismatch -Werror=strict-aliasing

The error comes from link time in the ocaml linker. Like many other packages, this seemingly used to have a problem but now doesn't. 

No version change in the package, just an updated ocaml ecosystem...
