Error(s) that match a know pattern in addition to what has been reported in the summary: install-xattr: failed to stat /var/tmp/portage/sys-power/apcupsd-3.14.14-r3/image/sbin/apcupsd: No such file or directory /usr/bin/install: target '/var/tmp/portage/sys-power/apcupsd-3.14.14-r3/image/sbin/apcupsd': No such file or directory FTR: this is something related to -native-symlink build Encountered this error today, but using clang. Setting STRIP="" solved the error. The installed binaries are stripped at the final phase of install, anyway. file /usr/bin/apcupsd /usr/bin/apcupsd: ELF 64-bit LSB pie executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2, for GNU/Linux 3.2.0, stripped |
