looks like you have a multilib bug

i'd suggest you rebuild portage with USE=multilib and gcc (i think you need gcc too ...) so that you have both a 32bit and 64bit sandbox

re-emerging portage did the trick.

Should I resolve the bug as fixed, or leave for other to find usefull?
