Please do attach the full build.log as it contains additional information like the true USE flags (excludes masks etc). i just checked linkage of zabbix_server and it really links against libevent, gonna fix it... emerge fails at configure check phase with message: checking for libevent support... no configure: error: Unable to use libevent (libevent check failed) In an old bug report (#646028) this has been fixed, but it seems to pop up again.
