Full emerge output is attached.  pkg_setup returns that /etc/env.d/09opengl does not exist, and that I should try running opengl-update.  I ran opengl-update, env-update, ldconfig, and the problem persists.  However, /etc/env.d/03opengl does exist.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge gtkglext
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
emerge fails with the attached output

Expected Results:  
The software should have installed properly.
