On Gentoo both -lncursesw and -ltinfow are needed where the latter is missing here. Additionally GNU libtool silently ignores -no-undefined while slibtool does not. I sent the patch to the Upstream ML. https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-guile-ncurses/2022-05/msg00000.html Thanks a lot Orbea! This compiles & passes tests for me with patch in the PR. LGTM The bug has been referenced in the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=e9b4a8bfad4ca23a97239ff8d1bad011da038fab commit e9b4a8bfad4ca23a97239ff8d1bad011da038fab Author: orbea <orbea@riseup.net> AuthorDate: 2022-05-09 16:23:51 +0000 Commit: Maciej Barć <xgqt@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2022-05-09 16:38:22 +0000 dev-scheme/guile-ncurses: Fix build with slibtool On Gentoo both -lncurses and -ltinfow are needed where the build misses the latter.
