Emerge log
Bug 841755 is likely related. Based on the reference to bug 841785 I re-emerged dev-java/stax2-api with java 11 set as the system-vm. emerge -u woodstox-core then completed successfully. The output showed that both source 1.8 and source 9 parts of the build were completed. I assume that my particular issue is solved. Since this package is installed as dependency of a dependency of...., I have no idea what I would need to do to exercise the code. I would like to add, that dev-java/stax2-api-4.2.1 uses the system-vm even if it is set to java 8. dev-java/woodstox-core-6.2.8 on the other hand will always use java 11. Thus, a new install of both libraries will produce the error, if the system vm is still on java 8. This should be fixed with woodstox-core-6.2.8-r1. |
