First upgrade other packages, I had the same problem, after I upgrade gnuconfig and gettext. xmms-alsa compiled fine Maybe you're right STefan. Yesterday i've modified my USE-flags and executed an "emerge --update --deep --newuse world" and now it worked fine I'm getting a similar error: You should update your `aclocal.m4' by running aclocal. aclocal: macro `jm_AC_TYPE_LONG_LONG' required but not defined I can post my emerge info completely later tonight (they won't let me stick my home laptop on the work network...) but I am running with the default-linux/ppc/2005.0 profile, ppc and ~ppc keywords and the rest of my system is up2date. Ok... here is my emerge info... I know people are often inclined to blame problems with ppc stuff... but automake/autoconf and aclocal work just fine on ppc so I see no reason why it should fail before it even gets stared Portage 2.0.51.19 (default-linux/ppc/2005.0, gcc-3.4.3-20050110, glibc-2.3.4.20041102-r0, 2.6.11-gentoo-r3-g4 ppc) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.11-gentoo-r3-g4 ppc 7447A, altivec supported Gentoo Base System version 1.6.10 Python: dev-lang/python-2.3.5 [2.3.5 (#1, Mar 16 2005, 16:02:31)] ccache version 2.4 [enabled] dev-lang/python: 2.3.5 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r6 sys-devel/automake: 1.8.5-r3, 1.5, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.4_p6, 1.9.5 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.90.0.3-r4 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.14 virtual/os-headers: 2.4.22-r1 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="ppc ~ppc" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-O2 -mtune=G4 -maltivec -mabi=altivec -fno-strict-aliasing -pipe" CHOST="powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -mtune=G4 -maltivec -mabi=altivec -fno-strict-aliasing -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs autoconfig ccache distlocks sandbox sfperms" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.chem.wisc.edu/gentoo/" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.namerica.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="X alsa berkdb bitmap-fonts cdr dlloader dvd emboss esd fam fortran gdbm gif gnome gtk gtk2 imlib jpeg mp3 ncurses nls opengl pam perl png ppc python qt readline ssl tcpd tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts unicode xml2 xmms xprint xv zlib" Unset: ASFLAGS, CBUILD, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS, PORTDIR_OVERLAY Same as #85177, one dupe of the other. imho this should be set as dupe of the other which is more general and detailed. |
