(In reply to Matt Turner from comment #7) > I'm unsure what's going on in this bug now. I'm sorry, I should have posted a comment here for clarity :) I've looked into previous versions and they have the same problems so it wasn't something that should block rekeywording. For gtksourceview, doubling timeout value by 2 in src_test fixes the problem since the HW is slow, would you be okay with adding this patch to the ebuild: --- a/gui-libs/gtksourceview/gtksourceview-5.4.1.ebuild +++ b/gui-libs/gtksourceview/gtksourceview-5.4.1.ebuild @@ -58,7 +58,7 @@ src_configure() { src_test() { # Tests fail in test-regex with libpcre2[recursion-limit] - https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtksourceview/-/issues/255 # Ensured OK via USE dep, as it would mean issues in real usage for syntax highlighting as well - virtx meson_src_test + virtx meson_src_test --timeout-multiplier=2 } src_install() { The bug has been referenced in the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=0fdbe80cedf6bce1505289edba5804b2c680d5ad commit 0fdbe80cedf6bce1505289edba5804b2c680d5ad Author: Jakov Smolić <jsmolic@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2022-04-25 15:12:38 +0000 Commit: Jakov Smolić <jsmolic@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2022-04-26 19:02:00 +0000 gui-libs/gtksourceview: Increase tests timeout value for slower arches Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/839345 Signed-off-by: Jakov Smolić <jsmolic@gentoo.org> Closes: https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/25194 Signed-off-by: Jakov Smolić <jsmolic@gentoo.org> gui-libs/gtksourceview/gtksourceview-5.4.1.ebuild | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (In reply to Matt Turner from comment #7) > I'm unsure what's going on in this bug now. Created attachment 771698 [details] gui-libs/gtksourceview build log I'm opening new bug to avoid blocking the original one given these 2 packages were the only ones that had failures.
