Debian renames it to fbstat https://packages.debian.org/sid/alpha/firebird3.0-utils/filelist
Fedora renames it to gstat-fb https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/firebird/blob/rawhide/f/firebird.spec#_257

after that it will be possible to remove the blocker to sys-cluster/ganglia

Was there any effort to fix this upstream? This is so generic a name it should not be used by ganglia either.

What is the impact on firebird? Is there precedent by other distros?
