Where did you get the ebuild for this? We don't invoke cpan via regular ebuilds - the only way I can think of for it to be invoked from this ebuild is if you failed to meet the dependancies, in which case it would have tried to use the autoinstaller. To be safe, please manually emerge the dependancies for this package, dev-perl/PerlIO-via-dynamic-0.10 and dev-perl/digest-base and see if it still persists. I am unable to reproduce this bug anymore. I'm really baffled as to how CPAN.pm has being involked as I've always had to the proper depencies. |
