ezmlm-idx-0.434.ebuild
Working ezmlm-idx 0.434 ebuild.
Assigned to the correct herd. I have released ezmlm-idx-0.435, an bug fix release. The same ebuild still works as-is. Thanks for the ebuild. I'll take a look at it. I just noticed the existing ebuild has an incorrect SRC_URI. It should read: SRC_URI="http://www.ezmlm.org/archive/${PV}/${PB}-${PV}.tar.gz http://cr.yp.to/s oftware/${EZMLM_P}.tar.gz" The host gd.tuwien.ac.at (formerly listed in SRC_URI) no longer appears to host a mirror of the software. Created attachment 57337 [details] New ebuild for version 0.440 New ebuild for version 0.440, also fixes bug #47668 Just used the 0.440 ebuild to build 0.442, and everything seems to work well. Hopefully this will get into the portage tree soon. Just used the 0.440 ebuild to build 0.442, and everything seems to work well. The version of this software that's in the portage tree is almost six years old, and is 12 versions behind the current stable upstream. What has to be done to get the version in portage updated? I mean to say: Just used the 0.440 ebuild to build 0.443, and everything seems to work well. Current version is 5.1.0... (In reply to comment #10) > Current version is 5.1.0... > Indeed. What's the hold-up? I just got bit by bug #47668. I'm actively configuring and using multiple ezmlm lists, and I'd much prefer to do so with a relatively recent version of ezmlm-idx. I'll grab the attached ebuild, but even that is now almost 19 months old. Let me know if I can help test. Current version is now 5.1.1 Created attachment 130349 [details] New ebuild for version 5.1.1 New ebuild for version 5.1.1, also fixes bug #47668 Mix of the 0.440 and 0.40-r2 ebuild. Tempted to make bug #47668 bounded by a "cgi" keyword since its an optional part of the official install. (In reply to comment #13) > Created an attachment (id=130349) [edit] > New ebuild for version 5.1.1 Awesome! Thanks, Mark. I'm swamped but I'll try to get this installed in the near future. This is long overdue and very much appreciated! Created attachment 130503 [details]
New ebuild for version 6.0.0
This ebuild obsoletes both the ezmlm-idx-mysql and ezmlm-idx-pgsql ebuilds, as they are all included in one setup now using dynamic libraries.

New ebuild for version 6.0.0-r1
Followed Bruce's example to get rid of the {my|pg}sql ebuilds. I am happy the devs modularized this one.
Fixed bugs in Bruce's ebuild where it would die unless both mysql and pgsql were used.
Tweaked BIN to make the mysql and pgsql files optional during install phase so it doesn't die on install.
Installed libs to /usr/lib/ezmlm instead of /usr/lib/mysql.
Included postgresql's libs in conf-cc (not sure if it was necessary since I don't have postgres installed).
So what do we have to do to get this updated package into the portage tree? i already have that merged ezmlm-idx ebuild in my overlay, and with a bit patience, it will be in the tree soon 6.0.0 in cvs, thanks |
