I just duplicated the issue without using Gaim. I think I miscategorized this bug. When I ran gnome-open test.html (a test html file in my ~ directory and no running web server) it came up in Galeon. When I put http:// in front of a URL, it opens in Firefox as it should. Sorry guys. I had to associate the file type .html to open with Firefox. I did this through Nautilus and everything works fine now. |
