when starting a vanilla vim session i get the following error on startup:

E1187: Failed to source defaults.vim
Press ENTER or type command to continue

To me it happened after the latest update from vim-8.2.3741 to vim-8.2.4328. No such error with vim-8.2.3741 and before.

i delete the file /etc/vim/vimrc (although i never modified the file) and remerged app-editors/vim-core-8.2.3741, which fixed the problem.

Please upgrade to >=app-editors/vim-8.2.4328-r1.
