Whoops, forgot to mention this is in kernel gentoo-dev-sources 2.6.10-r7. Can't reproduce this here. Can you confirm that when the system does not boot, disable UDF filesystem support *but changing no other options* allows your system to boot? That's kinda hard to do. Since I filed this bug, I switched over to JFS. Also, a friend of mine who has ReiserFS and UDF both compiled in (and a ReiserFS root) says that he has no problems. I guess it was just a weird fluke with my system... Ok, if you aren't in the position to test any fixes then theres not much we can do. If anyone else has this problem please post on this bug asking for it to be reopened. |
