The ebuild should change the init file to have it depend on squid because it will not start without squid running

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.start dansguardian without squid running
2.
3.



Expected Results:  
started the daemon

You are reffering to the same problem as in bug 66177?

I've solved that by adding an "after squid" in initd script, that is shared between all ebuild versions of dansguardian. A simple reemerge would fix your init script, or you could upgrade to the latest unstable version ;)
