So this ebuild was doomed to fail on any arch that isn't 32bit x86. I believe I have fixed this particular bug by removing those objects in src_prepare. I > believe I have fixed this particular bug by removing those objects in > src_prepare. I just recognized at https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/net-misc/smbc 1.2.2-r3 is testing on ppc. That looks weird to me. I have no idea how it could have ever built on ppc in the past, maybe keywords got carried over from a previous version that wasn't as broken. It might actually build on ppc now. If you want to test on arm64 and see if it works, I could add ~arm64 keyword.
