That's because x11-misc/xsel is part of the packages list of https://bugs.gentoo.org/804136 - So it behaving as expected according to the currently implemented logic. We can gladly start a discussion about whether the logic itself should be changed. I would track that in a separate item though if you were to ask me. The current behaviour seems pretty reasonable to me, and indeed desirable - it means that you can easily see bugs you might be missing but have a stake in. |
