hello,
the newest sox package can't convert to mp3. i get always a segementation fault.

if i compile version 14.4.2 and copy this sox to /usr/bin, i can convert to mp3!

please correct this bug or reactivate this older sox-package.

Please provide a complete recipe how to reproduce this.
I think it is the best to report it upstream and link the ticket here.
