While compiling, the compiler (gcc 3.4.3) produces the following warning:

-fhandle-exception has been renamed to -fexception and is enabled by default.

Changes to the Makefile should be able to prevent this warning.

reopen with
emerge --info
sys-libs/db version that this is occuring with.

New versions have fixed the warning.
