Hmm sorry. I put actual results to expected and the other way around. mplayer was just an example. I want to do USE="*" to easily test an ebuild I am making. After disgussion on #gentoo-portage it seems that USE="*" isn't supposed to work and there's some repoman hack involved here. How about adding an option to ebuild to enable all the use flags? That way normal users don't mess with it and those using it should know what they are doing. No. Do some sed on the list if you want that. Normal users shouldn't enable most flags anyway. |
