orage the XFCE calendar was dropped because it was no longer being developed.
That situation has changed.
Erkki Moorits is the new developer.
orage has been ported to GTK3.
latest release is 4.15.1, 2 weeks ago.

Ebuild for version 4.16.0

Just tried the attached ebuild in my local overlay.

Worksforme which means
- compiled and installed without error
- successfullt started the gui and closed it directly
