gnome-apps/mc can get blown away -- it's a waste of a directory

While we are looking at this package -- mc is not a gnome app.  gmc is the gnome
app, mc is ncurses.  This is in the wrong category IMHO.

Maybe split it akin to vim / gvim?

the whole gnome-apps section is dead and gone. 
theres only gnome-base and gnome-extra
