Performed emerge -uDvp world during which libxml2 was updated followed later by shared-mime-info.  Shared-mime-info failed whilst running the checks for perl in the configure script due to a problem with the xml::parser module.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge libxml with USE="python"
2. emerge shared-mime-info
3.

Actual Results:  
Fails as stated above.

Expected Results:  
I emerged libxml2 with "perl" added to use flags and then emerge
shared-mime-info with no problems at all.
