Description acidrums4 2021-12-03 16:34:03 UTC
Kalendar (https://apps.kde.org/kalendar/) is a calendar application that allows you to manage your tasks and events. Kalendar supports both local calendars as well as a multitude of online calendars: Nextcloud, Google® Calendar, Outlook®, Caldav, and many more.

Tok (https://github.com/KDE/tok) "KDE's Telegram client, featuring a desktop and mobile version. Explicitly not convergent."

Both are fairly new (Kirigami) and under heavy development, but it would be nice to have ebuilds for them - at least Kalendar is already at a decent point.

Yes, please! Korganizer has aged a lot, is heavy, it's design hasnt improved much in decades; on the other side Kalendar is agile, more feature rich and better graphically designed.
If you don't know it and can't test it in other distros, please, throw an eye on this video; it's previous to the first stable release, but anyway its quite illustrative:

Kalendar is now in ::kde and will be added to ::gentoo within the next week (likely far sooner). It's now part of KDE Gear which makes it a lot easier for us to handle too.

With app-office/kalendar having been packaged, returning this to one-bug-per-package policy.

And closing, since the repository was archived upstream just recently.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
