My system updated Samba from net-fs/samba-4.14.9 to net-fs/samba-4.14.10 yesterday, and now all domain users cannot access their shares anymore. The samba logs the following message: > Failed to find authenticated user xxx\yyy via getpwnam(), denying access. Unfortunately, samba is (even compared to sendmail) f*cking complicated, so I am unable to find the cause of this problem. After downgrading back to net-fs/samba-4.14.9, everythins is fine, again, so it seems, like net-fs/samba-4.14.10 is broken of had a change, that requires changing the configuration.
