attach a patch with your functionality. what would be more useful is a mod to qmail-scanner that moves the configuration section out to a new file. Created attachment 52195 [details, diff]
Proposed patch
Tested, works as expected against latest ebuild.
Anything new? Right now the ebuild is pretty much unusable for me, because I need different options than the ones supplied in the ebuild. So I need to edit the ebuild whenever I'd like to install a new version... Some global config for the ebuild would be nice... I think a /etc/conf.d/qmail-scanner should be included as part of the install... That way a user could edit it without trying to figure out what goes into it. btw, can we get this change (plus my suggestion above) into portage? *** Bug 82986 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I don't even see qmail-scanner in portage anymore. The previous comment was made about 6 years ago. I'd say close this bug. removed |
