I sent the ebuild quiz and my ssh2 key to recruiters@g.o Mark's ebuild quiz has been reviewed, and feedback has been sent to him and Daniel. I sent my end-quiz to recruiters@g.o I've checked Mark's end quiz and replied with feedback. Mark can you contact me on IRC please, just to discuss the feedback/answers. Thanks. Mark, sorry to see you go and hope you'll find another project where you'll be happy hacking away on awesome code :) Already retired on forums because Mark kept prodding me about it. ;-) Infra, please retire Mark. removed from planet (In reply to comment #11) > Infra, please retire Mark. > Done All done. Mark still isn't completely retired (at least halcy0n@gentoo.org is still subscribed to gentoo-core). Also he's listed in several docs with his @gentoo.org adress $ grep -Rn --color "halcy0n" * | awk -F ":" '{ print $1 }' | sort -u en/base/x86/arch-testers-faq.xml en/base/x86/at.xml en/base/x86/chroot.xml en/council/meeting-logs/20060209.txt en/council/meeting-logs/20060309.txt en/council/meeting-logs/20060420.txt en/devrel/roll-call/userinfo.xml en/devrel/user-relations/gentoostatus/index.xml en/glep/glep-0048.html en/glep/glep-0048.txt en/pr/press/press-coverage.xml en/qa/devmanual.xml en/userrel/gentoostatus/index.xml es/base/x86/arch-testers-faq.xml es/base/x86/at.xml es/base/x86/chroot.xml it/base/x86/arch-testers-faq.xml And according to userinfo.xml he is still 'active' :) (In reply to comment #15) > Mark still isn't completely retired (at least halcy0n@gentoo.org is still > subscribed to gentoo-core). Also he's listed in several docs with his > @gentoo.org adress Nope, he's not subscribed to any list, and his status in ldap is set to retired. So devrel needs to update the page if thats the case. No idea what the policy is on docs. You'd have to ask the doc team about that. (In reply to comment #16) > (In reply to comment #15) > > Mark still isn't completely retired (at least halcy0n@gentoo.org is still > > subscribed to gentoo-core). And yes, I really need to catch up on userinfo.xml. (In reply to comment #17) > Actually, he's marked as a no-mail subscriber to -core. And yes, I really need > to catch up on userinfo.xml. Ah, I didn't even check the no-mail subscribers. Its in a different location than the regular ones. We don't have any other people setup like that do we? Nope, halcy0n is quite special :) (In reply to comment #15) > Mark still isn't completely retired (at least halcy0n@gentoo.org is still > subscribed to gentoo-core). FYI, as far as GuideXML docs are concerned, the credits remain. The roll-call is used to either replace the @gentoo.org email with the first non-gentoo email listed in the roll-call or no email, but the name and the credit remain. kloeri: where were any pending actions needed from infra on this bug? (In reply to comment #22) > kloeri: where were any pending actions needed from infra on this bug? > Only thing missing is that he's still a nomail -core subscriber. Removed from nomail now, and script improved to check for people on digest and nomail portions. So, I think its been long enough of a break from Gentoo and I'd like to come back. The areas I'd like to be involved with to begin with are: * toolchain * qa * gcc-porting Since I wrote the QA GLEP, I know I can't join the team immediately, so I'll just do some work from outside the team to begin with. vapier said he would mentor me. don't think infra is needed here... Done: LDAP userinfo.xml -core bugzilla cvs/svn groups on cvs.gentoo.org IRC-cloak (requested) announcement #gentoo-dev channel access What you need to do: - subscribe to mailing lists with @gentoo.org address - request forum status bump in #gentoo-forums or by mail to forum-mods@gentoo.org (if you have a forums count) - add yourself to mail aliases ( like java@gentoo.org ) see /var/mail/alias on dev.gentoo.org - ask team leads to add yourself to herds.xml for the herds you want to join or do it yourself if you have the permission to do so - set lat and lon attributes in LDAP if you want others to know where exactly you are located reopen if anything is missing or just contact me via IRC Hey guys, Its definitely that time to retire me.
