Upstream bug https://github.com/ziglang/zig/issues/6485 > ninja -v -j40 -l40 failed Hmm, maybe you would like to try with "-j1"? I think we should probably just dekeyword on x86 given the huge RAM usage, until that upstream bug is solved at least. (In reply to Sam James from comment #2) > I think we should probably just dekeyword on x86 given the huge RAM usage, > until that upstream bug is solved at least. It is already dekeyword-ed, can I close this bug? The bug has been referenced in the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=71cc785aae8ce2453258188b87e307ca42906d32 commit 71cc785aae8ce2453258188b87e307ca42906d32 Author: Eric Joldasov <bratishkaerik@getgoogleoff.me> AuthorDate: 2022-12-07 01:59:30 +0000 Commit: Sam James <sam@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2022-12-14 09:19:10 +0000 dev-lang/zig: relax memory requirements for 9999 https://www.github.com/ziglang/zig/commit/e7d28344fa3ee81d6ad7ca5ce1f83d50d8502118 was merged recently, so memory usage (when building) drops from ~10GB to ~4GB Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/823086 Signed-off-by: Eric Joldasov <bratishkaerik@getgoogleoff.me> Closes: https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/28581 Signed-off-by: Sam James <sam@gentoo.org> dev-lang/zig/zig-0.10.0.ebuild | 13 +++++++++---- dev-lang/zig/zig-9999.ebuild | 11 +++++------ 2 files changed, 14 insertions(+), 10 deletions(-) (In reply to Eric Joldasov from comment #3) > (In reply to Sam James from comment #2) > > I think we should probably just dekeyword on x86 given the huge RAM usage, > > until that upstream bug is solved at least. > > It is already dekeyword-ed, can I close this bug?
