![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Someone who hit this on #gentoo said they're convinced it's 5.15-related breakage but upstream bug says 5.14. Anyway, it's fixed in 249.5, so we just need to bump. https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/20694 The bug has been referenced in the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=3a3dac6fbe08d90817de5a3285b103e0d04af2ea commit 3a3dac6fbe08d90817de5a3285b103e0d04af2ea Author: Sam James <sam@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2021-11-04 00:33:09 +0000 Commit: Sam James <sam@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2021-11-04 00:33:53 +0000 sys-kernel/linux-headers: unkeyword 5.15 for more testing Just for now. No major issues reported but there's enough going on right now (sandbox ptrace fun, meson 0.60.x, and linux-headers 5.15 breaking systemd and systemd-components at build time). Note that I probably wouldn't bother dekeywording this if it weren't for other things going on. Just trying to avoid users being bombarded with various build issues at the same time (due to aforementioned stuff ^). (In reply to Agostino Sarubbo from comment #4) > ci has reproduced this issue with version 249.5 - Updating summary. That sounds unexpected.. I was pretty sure I checked with 5.15? sys-fs/udev-249-r3 suffers from the same bug with sys-kernel/linux-headers-5.15 Linux-5.15.2-x86_64-AMD_Athlon-tm-_II_X2_240_Processor-with-glibc2.34 Bump to v249.6 should fix this. It's still really helpful to file a new bug for things like this so we don't lose it (and yes, still include the log). But thanks, will look.
