I could help maintaining with a proxy btw. I'm a former Gentoo dev so I know some stuff (very old stuff before all the EAPI things though) and I've been contributing quite a bit to pekwm source code lately. Hey, first of all you should no that _no one_ gets notified for bugs assigned to maintainer-needed. It's basically devnull. That being said, we just had a direct contact from a person interested in becoming a maintainer for PekWM. I'm glad to hear you're involved in upstream, and that should be a great strength for us. We should wait for the other person to finish offering their for work PekWM, and then if you'd like perhaps you both can be listed as maintainers under proxy-maint? Although, you're both free to offer version bumps and bug fixes without having to become the maintainer at all. We'll review and merge Github PRs done for maintainer-needed packages. Oh good that there will be a maintainer. It does not have to be me :) |
Created attachment 747792 [details] ebuild for pekwm 0.2.0 pekwm 0.2.0 has been released yesterday. It is now built with cmake instead of autotools so a bit more work than just a typical version bump. I made the ebuild a while ago while it was still in development. Maybe it's useful.
