Please, don't go all critical/blocker without giving ANY info. I assume you're using netboot, since there's a problem from busybox's tar not being able to understand newer tar files. First, netboot is experimental at the moment. Having said that, you can fetch (wget for instance) a statically compiled gnu tar from my devspace at http://dev.gentoo.org/~gustavoz/sparc/ Use that tar to open up the stage file of your choice. If you're using a livecd you probably have read errors on the cdrom if using the stage from the livecd, or your stage download is wrong. You can check this with dmesg, you'll see read errors at the end. |
