<dev-python/nose-1.3.7-r9 requires setuptool <58 to build (but I have 58.2.0), so I just can't update that package. It looks like:

It should ether be updated to use setuptools-58 or prevent it from installing

You haven’t actually given the full emerge output but skipping upgrades for this is fine.. that’s by design/all we can do.
