Issue: net-misc/bridge-utils-1.7.1 fails to compile.
Discovered on: amd64 (internal ref: ci)

NOTE:
This machine uses GCC-11: https://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-11/porting_to.html
If you think this is a GCC-11 related issue, please block bug 732706.

Possible context of error(s):

FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: b'TODO'

Yes had same issue, its simple TODO file was removed from source.

I would suggest for dodoc and doman to not die by default, but end with big fat error... however i googled and saw there was discussion about this 15 years ago and was something something, consistancy & broken ebuilds.

    base-system@ is co-maint rather than primary
    maint but let's just do it for simplicity.
