Description Robert Schuster 2005-02-09 16:26:58 UTC
The page says they will add joystick/gamepad support sometime.

Unfortunately they have not done so.

So I have done it myself :)

Free Software rocks!

Patch adding joystick support

This patch adds simple joystick support (It opens all available joysticks and
reacts to all equally)

Besides that you can now use keys+joystick and the mouse to control the cursor
during the intermission.

I will send this patch to the original maybe they will do another release then.

Patch adding joystick support.

The first patch removed possibility to change weapons with a designated
key(button).

This is fixed here.

Talked to upstream about this and there are plans for major reworking of the code later this year. People can download the files on thie bug and use them from their overlays but I'm not inclined to add the patch to portage since it won't be integrated upstream. Nice patch though.
