It seems doing a "emerge --clean rsync" will remove the gimp ebuilds and doesnt
downlown them again.  This in turn causes "!!! Warning: couldn't find match for
media-gfx/gimp in update (likely old /var/db/pkg entry)" because it's installed.
 Upon further checking, the ebuilds are not listed in
/usr/portage/media-gfx/gimp/* however the files are still in
/usr/portage/media-gfx/gimp/files/*
