genkernel doesn't really seem to support alpha at the moment... what's the usual way of adding support for an architecture?  I simply did "emerge development-sources genkernel && genkernel all"

Should be fixed in 3.2.0_pre1 and up; the 2.6 config was missing for Alpha. Thanks!
