Option remote character set not working properly - it converts only server messages but not filenames :(

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge gftp
2.set remote character set in options for example to CP1251
3.Log in on some server with filenames in CP1251 charset and see whitespaces, not russian letters

We'll follow this issue upstream. I wonder, is this a regression or a feature request ?
