When trying to emerge subversion-1.1.1-r3 compilation fails with the following error 

props.lo: file format not recognized; treating as linker script.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Emerge subversion
2.

Actual Results:  
Subversion fails to compile

Expected Results:  
Compiled subversion

Brian is right. I need a compile log if this still happens with a current
subversion ebuild.
