exiv2 has support for bmff files since version 0.27.4. However, this support is disabled by default and can only be enabled by switching on the EXIV2_ENABLE_BMFF cmake option. See also: https://github.com/Exiv2/exiv2/blob/v0.27.4/CMakeLists.txt#L28

It would be great if a use flag could be provided to enable this option.
