Maybe caused by -fipa-pta? Known to break build of another package: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=789069 Ah, already reported to GCC Bugzilla: https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=101949 (Will fix rest of bug metadata at desktop.) removing -fipa-pta fixes the bug so it's most likely the mentioned upstream issue. (In reply to Michiel Hazelhof from comment #4) > removing -fipa-pta fixes the bug so it's most likely the mentioned upstream > issue. Please don't close bugs like this because we'll need to backport the GCC patch when it's available. It's also easier for folks to find it while open. Sorry most projects don't like open upstream tickets. (In reply to Michiel Hazelhof from comment #6) > Sorry most projects don't like open upstream tickets. No worries! Really appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We definitely need folks to let us know about bugs (especially for critical/core stuff) like this so we can keep an eye on the upstream bugs and bring the fixes to Gentoo users. |
