'emerge quik' results in the following errors on my Powermac 9600/200 with a fresh stage three install of 1.4rc1:

I commited a new ebuild that includes some Makefile-fu which will correctly 
link Quik on GCC 3.2 systems. 
 
emerge rsync 
emerge quik 
 
Should do the trick.
