1) Arch are packaging such a snapshot already
2) Alternatively Fedora would have a patch: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/ibus-chewing/blob/rawhide/f/ibus-chewing-1799517-no-gob2.patch

Please also:
- Port to EAPI-7/8
- Switch to cmake.eclass
- Revisit CMAKE_MAKEFILE_GENERATOR=emake necessity
