The wtf command from https://www.mirbsd.org/wtf.htm has more search features and a bigger acronyms DB then the games-misc/wtf. The existing wtf script runs on Debian and BSD but uses app-shells/mksh as shebang.
The acronyms DB get quite often updates. Maybe it make sense to put it into extra -data package.
