Bug 80587 – gentoo-dev-sources make install puts YES or y at end of modules dir

For some reason I've had problems with several different systems putting either YES or y at the end of my modules directory name.

While this wouldn't be a huge problem, apps that install modules try to look for module dir of /lib/modules/`uname -r` which doesn't exist since it has YES appended.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge gentoo-dev-sources
2. configure and make
3. make module_install

Actual Results:  
example: 2.6.10-gentoo-r6YES

Expected Results:  
2.6.10-gentoo-r6

Because you used "make oldconfig" when changing between kernel versions when you should not do this (it should only be done between individiual gentoo _revisions_). Start from a fresh .config and you will not run into this problem.
