Thanks for that! Someone reported this a few weeks ago. A forum poster (https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-8638195.html?sid=628da0c62e7fe46dc33f99a18defb3ef#8638195) claims that downgrading dev-libs/protobuf to version 3.15.8. You can try putting '>dev-libs/protobuf-3.15.8' in /etc/portage/package.mask and re-emerging it as a temporary fix. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 800824 *** Thanks! the temporary fix works |
