sys-libs/libchipcard-1.9.9_beta contains sample configs with wrong paths:

root@caravan:~# grep driverDataDir /etc/chipcard2-server/chipcardd2.conf.example 
  char driverDataDir="/var/lib/chipcard2/drivers/ctapi"
  char driverDataDir="/var/lib/chipcard2/drivers/ctapi"
root@caravan:~# ls -l /var/lib/chipcard2/drivers/ctapi
ls: /var/lib/chipcard2/drivers/ctapi: No such file or directory
root@caravan:~# ls -l /usr/lib/chipcard2-server/drivers/ctapi 
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root 23864 Feb  2 14:54 /usr/lib/chipcard2-server/drivers/ctapi

This is an example-config, it cannot know where you've installed your drivers. The config that get's installed by the ebuild doesn't contain any wrong path-names, it'll autodetect your devices if you have an usb-reader.
