Description Rob Cakebread (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-31 09:53:58 UTC
gnome-sudo is a front-end for sudo. I'm not too familiar with gnome, so if the gnome herd could take a look at this, I'd appreciate it. I've been using gnome-sudo for a few months without problems.

This is an old gnome 1 package that hasn't been touched since 2001. Not sure where you got the deps for the ebuild, or how you have been using it for a few months and didn't notice :-/ We already have gtk2 frontends for su and sudo (gksu package)
Comment 3 Rob Cakebread (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-31 20:08:28 UTC
What gtk2 frontends for sudo are in portage? I've looked at gksu and it does not have sudo support.

Nevermind me. I see there is a symlink from gksu to gksudo, but theres nothing in the man page about it.
