I switched to profile 2005.0. So I unmerged the emul-libs. So far so good.

No all openoffice-bin does is: /opt/OpenOffice.org/program/soffice.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libXext.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I do have a /usr/lib/libXext.so.6 (but I guess that is the 64bit version)...

Wasn't multilib going to provide all the needed 32bit magic?

mmmh, reinstalling the emul-libs solved it. I guess there is a reason they are still listed as dependencies :-). Propbably this should be noted in the 2005.0 transition doc where it tells you to remove them...
