xine backend is more a media-video thing... Try with xine-ui to see if the problem is with xine-lib or totem please. Please tell which backend are you using and reopen if it's still an issue with latest version of the backend. Sorry for my late answer: Now [ can't tell my setup when this problem appeared ] I use totem-0.100-r3, xine-lib-1.0-r2, gstreamer-0.8.9-r3 and gst-plugins-0.8.8. Totem now playes vob files without freezing the system - allthough without sound, but I think that this is most likley a problem of my setup [ maybe missing plugin ]. As far as I'm concerned, I would leave this bug closed ... |
